These Pictures were taken by Nate Edwards in November.

This suitcase belonged to Adelaide's Great Grandma (my father's mother). She was a nurse in World War 2 in the South Pacific.

This chair also belonged to Adelaide's Great Grandma.

This was taken in front of a pond a few blocks from our home.

She may look like me but she's built nice and tall and solid like Kev. :)

This is on the south side of our house in front of Utah Lake.

Our first home.

Kevin is Adelaide's favorite parent . . . and person, for that matter. I love it!

So, Kevin has a journal that his mom kept for him during her pregnancy and the first year of his life. We have been keeping one for Adelaide as well. In that journal there is a list of "guesses" from friends and family. We were hoping to create a list for Adelaide as well. As you know, I am due tomorrow (Oct. 7) but who knows when the little lady will make her debut. We would love for each of you to share your guess of:

• Birthday

• Time of day (of birth)

• Weight

• Length

• Hair/no hair

For your information....Kevin was 10 lbs 15 oz. and had no hair. I was 7 lbs 8 oz. and also had no hair. We will be sending a prize to the closest guesser (Kevin said he will come up with a "point system"). Don't worry, Kevin and I are not allowed to win but since we both thought she was a boy then you probably wouldn't have anything to worry about anyway!

Guess soon or you may be too late!

My guess: 10/11/10, morning, 8 lbs. 1 ounce, 20 inches, no hair

Kevin's guess: 10/10/10, nighttime, 8 lbs, 9 oz., 20.5 inches, no hair

UPDATE: Kevin's point system is as follows: For each category, the person closest to the right answer gets 5 points, next gets 3, third gets 1.

For hair or no hair, a correct answer gets you 3 points.

So, Rachel and I have been asked a lot recently by other married couples, "Hey, do you guys have a blog?" I feel pretty lame saying, "No, just my art blog." So, thus begins the official blog of Rachel and Kevin Walton (as opposed to the unofficial ones).

We'll try and keep this as updated as we can!
